I have continued to lose even though we are in the troughs of the holiday season. Last week I had to attend to some family business and forgot to do my post. Sorry ladies. I lost 1.5 pounds this week. I lost a pound. I am ok with that.
This week has been stressful. Last week was stressful. I didn't get my workouts in while i could have. I was stressed. This week we got in the shred this morning. I am sore. I moved up to level two now that I have my MS meds straight end out.
For those that Don't know I have remitting relapsing Multiple Sclerosis was diagnosed the day before my dad passed. I was having some major symptoms over the last few weeks with major tremors and Fatigue. I am glad the med adjustments are helping. I have an MRI wednesday to see what exactly is going on. We are hopeful.
The doctors are having me take it a bit easier and have me changing my cloric intake around.
I am happy to be feeling better =)
So my goals are the same to keep movin and eat healthy.

Week 4
This week I am continuing to workout with the Shred and Eas active. Our menu is the same as week one. Kids were asking for those recipes. Makes me a happy mommy.
I have been weighing in with the doctor on Mondays the last two weeks. I am so glad to see I am almost out of the 200. I weighed in a 207.5 and according to the doctor that is 14.5 pounds in two weeks. I have been using Jillian Michael's Quick Start. Love it.I should be adding in I am with the doctor for supervising of my MS and Vitamin deficiency. So I have been going by her scale.i am so embarressed to be publishing these photos.

I am loving the encouragement of all the woman. Our mamavation mamas are doing fantastic. I think if Leah does this again I might just enter. I see their success and I want that too.

Shred and Eas Active
I am four days into the Shred and I am sore. I know that is a good sign. Today will be my rest day. I workout six days a week and do one day of rest. For those of you who dont follow the family blog. I have remitting and relapsing MS. I dont do intense usually and this is intense. I am loving it. I am also listening to my body. Today my body says rest.
I also do the Eas Active. I am loving that. I do that every morning. Then in the evening I do the shred or another Jillian Michaels game. Love Love Love the active if you dont have one. Go invest in one. I love that workouts are made FUN!!!!
I am glad to see my pants getting a bit bigger. That always makes me smile.
My menu this week has been winging it. I have stayed with my three meals and 1 snack in the am and pm. I am a lapband patient. They want many small meals. i cant do small meals becasue they will get stuck. So I have 2 snacks to help with the protine intake.

week 3
Last week was a good week. I am sitting here in all honesty half Hearted writing this post. I have a heavy heart. With heavy heart my actions show. What happened yesterday when I got bad news and things I cant wrap my head around I chose to throw the diet out the window and do what I wanted. In that case. My weight loss wasn't what I wanted. Why didn't I turn to exercise? I don't know couldn't tell you. Wish I could.
So today is recommitting knowing I cant change what has happened but I can change today. So that is what I am doing. I didn't do my menu out for the week. I really don't know what we are having I am winging it this week.
So Here's to a better week. I am going to try out all new products Jillian Michael's PR Rep sent me and will keep you informed throughout the week if it is worth purchasing.
Keep UP the great work ladies.... I know I am proud to be a follow along...Even while struggling the last two days.

Week 2
This week I will remained focus on my diet plan and exercises.
As I write this I am eating a banana split. It is soo good.
6 inch banana
1/2 cup diced strawberry
3 teaspoons grape nut cereal
1/4 cup vanilla or plain yogurt
2 teaspoons fat free sugar free chocolate fudge (Shaw's brand is good and so is smuckers)
Next to nothing in way of calories and fats. I love it
Yesterday we did cantaloupe, yogurt and blueberries.
Someone emailed me about the cucumber recipe
1 cucumber peeled and sliced length wise scrape out the seeds.
1 tomato sliced and diced small
1/4 cup fat free ranch dressing
2 teaspoons red onion Finley chopped
salt and pepper to taste
mix all ingredients but cucumber
fill cucumber with mixture
I stayed away from the candy so proud of myself as snickers are my weakness. Hope to have a picture of my scale next week when I go and replace it. Kids break everything

Day 2
I have gotten up and had my breakfast. Totally loving Ocean Sprays cranberry orange muffin oatmeal. Go Check it out.
For lunch I am having the pumpkin ravioli by healthy choice suggested by Kadi. Thanks Kadi.
Dinner will be at chic fil a so it is the gilled chicken and berry salad.
I did Jill this morning. This afternoon we will be doing our daily walk.

For those who asked the Biggest loser texas caviar recipe
1 15 oz can 50% less sodium whole kernal corn and black beans rinsed and drained
2.4 cup freash salsa
2 tablespoons chopped freash cilantro
1 1/2 teaspoons red wine vinager
1 teaspoon cumin
salt and pepper to taste
hot sauce to taste
mix all togeather in a glass or plastic bowl. refidgerate for two hours before serving

An Introduction to My Journey
So I will start at the beginning so you know about the journey I have had before joining Mamavation.
In 2007 I had some pretty major stuff going on. I was still coping with the loss of never being able to have children again. I had to have a hysterectomy. My marriage was falling apart. I felt frumpy, unattractive, like a whale. In all honesty I was that whale. I had in 7 years taken my 125 pounds and ate myself to 350 pounds.
January 1 I never make resolutions. That year for whatever reason I did. I haven't looked back since. I called the 4th and made my first appointment with Dr. Darren Tishler. I love this man more than anyone can know. He gave me my life back. I went through all kinds of testing and proving I was worthy of Lap band. It was the hardest time of my life but I was fighting to get me back. I was sick. I had diabetes,high blood pressure. I was also able to get a true accurate diagnosis of my remitting and relapsing ms.
In six months of this surgery I was off my meds for high blood pressure and diabetes. I felt great. I was loving my new life. I still am. I had lost 160 pounds. I gained 16 back from stress and not caring. I am so angry with myself for that.
So I got back out my Jillian Michael's wii game and will be getting my eas active thanks to the mamavation twitter party. I am so excited and so thankful for that. Now to wear my husband down on the shoes by earth footwear. Insert evil grin here.
So that is my journey this far.
What our menu for the week is
Breakfast I do a protein shake
am snack is usually some cheese and a fruit
lunch is a salad of some sort
Our dinners will be
Monday pineapple teriyaki pork chops with couscous
Tuesday We will be at chic fil a for the class party so I will be having the char grilled chicken and fruit salad with the reduced fat berry balsamic vinaigrette dressing
wed roasted tailapia with fire roasted tomatoes and olives served with green beans and a Cesar salad
Thursday grilled turkey cutlets with salsa (though ours will be cooked stove top) we have no grill served wtih a fruit salad
Friday stuffed cabbage strata so filling we just have this
sat losers fish tacos and rosemary baked sweet tater fries
sun bbq bacon meat loaf i do this in muffin tins and the kids love it. we serve this with salad, fresh carrots my kids hate them cooked, whole grain rice
other snacks we have Incorporated for dessert and after lunch is trail corn munch, Texas caviar, edamammus,fiesta turkey mini tostadas
exercise plan we walk daily as a family to help kids burn energy. While they are at school I do my wii cardio with Jillian Michaels. I am searching for her shred. The target here doesn't carry it.
